Welp, Welcome to 2021

Remember when just a few weeks ago we were so happy to get out of 2020? Then we entered the trial period of 2021 and wanted to return it. 🙃🙃🙃 Trust that I am not ignoring the elephant in the room. It is for mental health purposes that I won't be going in depth about January 6th. What I will say is after 2020 are we surprised by anything that happens? And with that we are moving right along.

One thing I have decided is that this year I won't have New Year resolutions. Usually I break them within the first 72 hours. I did decide to write down some goals I want to achieve. My number one goal this year is to continue to work on improving my mental health. Specifically, working through anxiety. There are days that I feel ABSOLUTELY AMAZING . It's the other days I want to find the most beneficial tools and solutions to help me. The goal is not to say I'm fine when I'm not. Quite frankly, that doesn't work for me. I have found that I need to allow myself to feel all the feels. The trick is to not let my feelings set up permanent residence in my mind.

What are some of your goals for 2021? Do you want to lose weight? Work on saying yes to more opportunities? Whatever it is, I hope you crush them. In the words of Dory, "Just Keep Swimming". The tide will change and we will come out on the other side of 2021. The non 7 day trial version of 2021 of course. We may need to find the return policy just in case though.
