Celebrations and Reconnections

Updated: Dec 20, 2020

A couple of weeks ago I celebrated my 32nd birthday. Spending time with my family and some friends was an absolute highlight. We kept it simple with a barbecue and hanging out. It dawned on me that I hadn't seen my family since Christmas. It was overwhelming to finally reconnect.

My parents and I went on a daily walk with my dog and it was the most peaceful experience I had. I didn't do any work and fully engaged. There was a movie day, laughs, prayer, bible study, and worship. It was everything I didn't know I needed and more.

Sometimes connecting with your people is what will give you that push. I spent ten days with them. And those were ten of the BEST days I have had since lil Rona came to town. Even Tippy enjoyed his vacation. He was spoiled rotten and got to sunbathe frequently, his favorite pastime.

I want to encourage you to do something, reconnect, in the best and safest way you can. Year 32 was celebrated differently. But I still felt the love. My hope is you will feel some of that SAME love too! Cheers to us making it to level 4 of Jumanji. I mean, July of 2020. 😬
